The foundation work is proceeding slowly so not much news to tell. However, here are some photos from one working day on the site for you to get an idea what's going on.
The working day starts at 7.30 (however we've never made it there so early...). At 12 everyone goes to have lunch at one of the worker's house next door and the day ends usually at 17. Nowadays there are mostly 7 workers on the site, but more workforce are definitely needed and hopefully next week could have as many as 12.
One of the workers fixing the pump on site to empty rainwater from the pits for footings.
Our site engineer Sreng supervising the delivery of sand.
Sisko together with Chuon and Son Young from KKKHRDA sorting out a new storage space for the prefabricated bamboo parts.
And cycling home at the end of the day.
